Carole's Miracle

Carole had been having an understandably difficult time coming to terms with the impending death of her husband, Steve, who was diagnosed with a terminal illness.  They spent time talking together about what may lie ahead of him should he leave this dimension.  Carole asked Steve to give her a sign that he was all right.  She wanted him to send her a shooting star to let her know his spirit was alive and well.

Her husband died on August 19th.  Carole called me to tell me that two days after Steve's passing, a man who had been scheduled to show her carpet samples for their bedroom showed up.  As she was going through the samples, one in particular appealed to her, especially the feel of the yarn.  She thought she might choose that one and turned it over.  The name of the sample was Shooting Star. 

Of course, Carole replied in a tranquil voice, that is the carpet she will have in her house.  And with every foot step she takes, she will be reassured that her husband is indeed very well.
