A Baby is Born

It was a few years ago that a woman I had known came into the Reiki Clinic and wanted a treatment for herself and her unborn child.  She was due to deliver in two weeks.  She wanted a natural delivery but the doctors were planning on doing a Caesarean section if the baby didn't turn.  She was hoping that giving the baby Reiki would help it to turn into the proper position.

As I was giving the woman a treatment and moved to where the baby lie, I felt a definite connectedness with the unborn child.  So I began to talk to the baby in my mind, "come on, let's turn around for mommy".  "NO" seemed to be the reply.  "I am not moving.  Nothing could make me move.  I am here for a reason."  Then I sensed this tremendous and beautiful love the little one had for its mother.

After the treatment was complete, I told the woman what I received.  We were both confused and she went on her way.  Two days later I received a call from the new mother from the hospital.  After she left the Clinic, her water broke.  She went to the hospital shortly thereafter and the baby was delivered by Caesarean.  Later when the doctor came in to check on her, he said, "It was sure a good thing that we had to do a Caesarean.  We found a tumor that needed to be removed immediately and we would have never found it had you give birth naturally".
