Reiki for Roy
Christa just took her second degree Reiki class this past weekend. The following email came today.
Hi Chris,
I wanted to share with you my first experience with second degree. My neighbor's dog is about 12 years old and had surgery last Thursday to remove a large tumor. The surgery was very extensive and they had to remove his tail. We all love 'Roy'...he has an amazing spirit and is a true joy to be around. When I returned home I was looking forward to going to visit him, just to check on him and love him. He was so pitiful to see, lying on the floor with these sad eyes. His "parents" said that he won't let them near his surgery site and they hadn't seen any emotional improvement in him since surgery. I wasn't even thinking to share Reiki with him, I just sat down with him and started petting. A minute or so later he got up and turned around to show me his wound, he literally got up and put himself right in my face...He was no doubt asking me to touch his wound. So I put my hands on him very near the stitches and Reiki took over. He lied down next to me and for about half an hour I gave Reiki to him, he started licking my hands and nudging me with his nose. His breathing went from labored to natural and relaxed. This was so beautiful to experience. He got up and walked away as if to show us he felt better then came back to me and took his paw to tap at me for more...he wanted more Reiki. Afterward he went to his favorite toy and took it to his "Dad", he wanted to play...then His "Mom" said LOOK at him he is doing it...He does this cute little smile when he is happy. He was smiling.
I felt so full of blissful contentment like I was floating. His parents were in awe of what they witnessed.
Our pets have this beautiful gift to share with us. Unconditional Love. They are so aware and receptive to energy. Roy knew this energy, he asked me for it.
I am filled with Joy.
Much Love to you,
Christa
