Andrea's Story

The recent days and weeks have brought new endings and new beginnings for a number of us. My phone has rung far too often with the news of someone's parent or child or spouse or friend having left their body and this world for the Freedom, Wonders and Oneness of the Real World.

I watched the Truth of Who We Are unfold before me while I was with Andrea, the 23-year-old daughter of a friend. She had gone into a coma following surgery for removal of a brain tumor. When I arrived at the hospital I could quickly tell she was floating above her body and somewhat CONFUSED. "What am I doing above my body? What is this all about? Where is all my hair?"

But very soon, her soul began to be playful, unconcerned about her body. "I'm going to come back and tease you, Mom. And I'll look like I did when I was younger, when my hair was long and beautiful." There was LEVITY without any fear or confusion.

Andrea's spirit then became aware of her FREEDOM. She didn't have to hover above her body. She could go anywhere she wanted to. "I'm going to see those other souls in here [ICU]." Her next awareness was that of herSelf as COCREATOR, not as a victim. "No, I'm not coming back into my body. My body is this way because I am leaving. It's not the other way around. Don't you get it?"

After her body died, she was aware of her ONENESS with All That Is. "I'll be back in awhile. I am going to the Father." At no point in time with my connection with the soul of Andrea, did she cease to exist or to even lose 'consciousness'.

Through this experience I became more awakened to Life as a Circle, with no beginning and no end....just the eternal process of our COMING to our Oneness and our being AWARE of our Oneness.
