We the People

I now have a greater appreciation for our constitution which is for the people, by the people.  We can complain [and I do] that those we elect have not made the right choices for us.  We can complain that big business is running our country.  We can complain that government is not for the people.  But maybe you are like me.... I often forget about the 'by the people' part. 

I vow to write my congressmen and women to voice more often my choices, to become better informed [and not just by watching politically biased news], to get involved at the community level to discuss issues,  and to increase my support for the environmental organizations that fight for my causes.

It is time for us to find solutions that reflect respect and honor for all living beings and all living things.  We can do it if we JOYn together.
