freedom
My eldest son just turned 60 (3/23/21) and I asked him how it felt to be entering a new decade. “I am not sure yet. You tell me how you feel since you turned 80”. My first response was “freedom”. Later that day I gave thought to what I meant.
I have the freedom of life unfolding.
I have the freedom of not having to know.
I have the freedom not to fear the future.
I have the freedom to bless rather than regret the past.
I have the freedom of mindfulness.
I have the freedom to choose wonder over worry.
I have the freedom to not identify myself with my productivity.
I have the freedom to know physical issues do not define me.
I have the freedom to feel the fullness of gratitude throughout the day.
I have the freedom to view the world with love.
Don’t wait till you’re 80 to JOYn me
the voice
Do you listen to your Inner Voice?
The One you came into this life with?
The Voice that is wise and attentive?
The One we neglect for our intellect?
might I……
Might I, rather than striving to be Love, to become Love,
might I allow the unfolding of what I already am?
Might I, rather than striving to be more of something
or less of something, might I, in the acceptance of all of that I am,
be the continuing expansion of Divinity?
grateful
Have you ever been so full of gratefulness that it pours out of your pores?
When you feel gratitude for one thing... then another
thing shows up and you feel gratefulness all over again?
And you don’t have to have everything you want to feel this feeling?
You need only one thing — like….
I am aware I am somehow part and parcel of the Oneness….
or ...I have a full tummy.
